Child Safety Standards Policy
Effective Date: April 30, 2025
Purpose
At Thumzup Media Corporation, we are committed to creating a safe and secure environment for all users. In our terms of service, our users agree that they are 18 years or older, so Thumzup is not intended for use by persons under 18 years of age.
The Google Play Store requires us to have a Child Safety Standards Policy even though Thumzup is not intended to be used by children and no content is hosted on Thumzup. This Child Safety Standards Policy outlines our strict prohibitions against content or behavior that exploits, endangers, or facilitates harm to children. Our policy complies with Google Play’s Child Endangerment and Child Safety Standards policies, ensuring our app remains free of child sexual abuse and exploitation. This policy applies to all users, developers, and content creators interacting with our app.
Scope
This policy applies to all content within Thumzup including but not limited to user-generated content, app features, text, images, videos, audio, profiles, and interactions.
- Prohibition of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
Thumzup strictly prohibits any content or behavior that exploits, endangers, or facilitates harm to children. This includes, but is not limited to:
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any visual, textual, or auditory content depicting or promoting sexual abuse or exploitation of minors.
Facilitation of Exploitation: Content or features that enable users to create, upload, or distribute material that exploits or endangers children, including grooming or predatory behavior.
Inappropriate Interactions: Communications or interactions targeting minors for exploitative purposes, such as soliciting explicit content or engaging in sexualized conversations.
Depictions of Harm: Content that promotes or depicts violence, abuse, or neglect of children.
Enforcement: Any violation of this section will result in immediate removal of the offending content, suspension or termination of the user’s account, and reporting to relevant authorities as required by law. The app itself may face removal from Google Play if it fails to prohibit such content.
- Child Safety Standards for Social and Dating Apps
As outlined by Google Play, apps in the Social and Dating categories must implement robust safeguards to protect children. Thumzup adheres to the following standards:
Content Moderation: All user-generated content (e.g., profiles, messages, images) is subject to moderation to detect and remove material that violates child safety standards.
User Reporting: We encourage users to report inappropriate content or behavior and will prioritize reports for child safety concerns.
Enforcement: Failure to comply with these standards will result in content removal, or account suspension. We continuously update our moderation systems to align with Google Play’s requirements.

Thumzup encourages users to report any content or behavior that violates this policy. Reports can be submitted via:
